Library SignageIt has been my goal to get better signage up in the library. I have slowly been working on these for a while. If you like them feel free to use them. I used Canva and The Noun Project to create the signage. All the backgrounds and images I used were free. Both sites have more options for paid items.

Students track the title of each book read, read to, and listened to over winter break on the back of this paper. All they need to record is the title of the book, and then a complete total when they return to school. For each book read they will receive a sticker to add to the mystery picture. The picture will be on a giant piece of grid paper. Each grid is coded to identify which color sticker goes in the box. As stickers are added a picture will emerge. The picture requires 7,040 stickers!
The stickers will be given out on the honor system. They do not have to take an AR test to receive a sticker. Students may choose to take AR quizzes if they wish. Adults that work in my building can join the fun! My co-worker, Alice Reinert, used a mystery sticker page to track books read for picture book month. I borrowed this idea from Mrs. Reinert. Feel free to copy my documents and change them in any way you like. Click here for the handout. Click here to visit the website Let's Stick Together to order the sticker poster. I decided to make a display of books about overcoming difficulty, based on the fact that the book Wonder is so popular at the moment. Instead of trying to come up with all the titles on my own I posted on the Facebook group Future Ready Librarians asking others to help create a list. This is the list that users came up with together. I only listed the titles. Feel free to print this list, or click on the link given below to make a copy of the original Google Sheets document.
