I created a website called William Allen White Collaboration website. Students can share BookSnaps, or any other work they create about the books on the 2017-2018 list on the site. I created it using Google Sites and Padlet.
I created incentives and signage to encourage students to use the website, with the goal being that students will creatively engage with text during or after the reading process. I taped the information to the covers, back, and/or inside the book. I also added signage asking students "Do you want a Starburst?" When students post on the site, they can let me know by email. After I confirm their post I will send them a starburst in school mail using the quick form I created. link to the website: William Allen White Collaboration Website Screencast-o-matic video explaining how to use the site: Demo video Related documents created in Google Slides: documents Feel free to use, and change any of these documents for your own use. Not sure what a BookSnap is? Check out Tara Martin's site here. Specifically looking for directions to BookSnaps? Look here. My personal favorites are to create with Google Drawing, and upload to a Padlet to share.
